The starting point for any Dirt Bike Performance Improvement is your engine. You can specify the level of performance that you wish to achieve, such as:-

Peak performance overall 

Maximum power at specified R.P.M.

Increased mid-range or bottom-end grunt Etc.

This is achieved by Head Porting (4-strokes), or Cylinder Porting (2-strokes).

To achieve higher power requires larger port areas, but without the knowledge and experience to correctly modify intake, transfer and exhaust areas, and without the equipment  needed to produce the best port shapes for maximum power, you will not achieve the required results.

More low to mid-range grunt is best for off-road and novice riders, while increased power in the mid to top end will better suit intermediate and expert motocross riders.

BASIC SERVICE - CYLINDER HEAD
The head will be dismantled and soda blasted. Valve seats machined, valves refaced (steel valves), head gasket face precision lapped, re-assembled and valve clearance set.

PERFORMANCE HEAD MODIFICATIONS
In addition to the Basic Service the intake, exhaust port and combustion chamber are modified for increased air flow.
Improving the shape and surface finish of the ports, combustion chamber and valve seat profiles will bring the engine to the highest level of efficiency.
This complex process produces horsepower and torque gains across the entire RPM range.
We can also customise your power requirements.
